|
What is GEMS?
GEMS is a girls club. The acronym GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior.
What is the purpose of GEMS?
The purpose of GEMS is to help bring girls into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Who can attend GEMS?
GEMS is for girls in second thru sixth grade.
When does GEMS meet?
We meet twice a month on Wednesdays from 6:30- 8 pm.
How much does it cost to join GEMS?
There is no cost to join GEMS.
What kind of activities are GEMS doing?
GEMS will develop life skills by doing badge activities. We also enjoy singing together, creative movements, making fun crafts and learning how to apply the bible to our lives.
Each year we have a new theme that is
our focus. Our theme this year is, "Feed the Fire" based on
Revelation 3: 15-16 and Roman 12:11. We will look at how we can move
from apathy to action, passionately pursing God, zealously serving
Him, and living a life defined by radical, wholehearted love and
obedience to God alone.
We look forward to meeting your GEMS
aged girls. Your girls are welcome to invite friends. If you have
any further questions contact Lonna Driesenga @ 892-4808 or
Megan Post @ 895-1485.
