Ø     Welcome to Guest Pastors John Wiegers and Tim Kauffman as they share God’s word here today and next Sunday too.

Ø     Today is the last day to submit items for next Second Thoughts. Email them to Gailepunt@aol.com and/or put in newsletter box.

Ø     PrimeTimers, come to the Allendale Township Park this Tues. at 5:00 PM, for a picnic. Food will be catered so if you plan to join in, please call Ida Roon at 895-6246.

Ø     Prayer Intercessors will meet this Wed. at church from 10–11 AM at 10:00 AM. Newcomers and all prayer requests are welcome.  

Ø     The Mission Committee is looking for a few new members. We’re involved in the support of local and international missionaries, organizing Faith Promise offerings and mission trips as well as supporting other mission opportunities in our church life. If you have an interest in missions or have any questions about joining the Committee, please contact Maria Knoppers at 662-3969.

Ø     GEMS Counselors Michelle Kolean, Sara Ambrose, Lonna Driesenga and Rachael Taylor will attend the GEMS Leadership Conference in Minnesota July 21- 25. Keep them in prayer as they prepare for a new season of GEMS. Today is the last day to bring empty pop cans for their travel expenses. Thank you!

Ø     Kids Hope USA has 3 children that need new mentors this coming school year. Two of them are a one year commitment and the other is longer. Their mentors are leaving because of going off to college and career changes. Substitute and additional mentors are needed for other at-risk children. It is a one–on-one commitment for one hour a week at Allendale Public School and there are some special events throughout the year. Required training will take place in Sept. Ø     Thank you so much for all the expressions of Love that were shown to our family with the death of my mom, Marian Lynch. A special thank you to Pastor Harold for his words of GRACE and HOPE during the funeral service. It was a beautiful time of visitation where we felt much loved by this body of believers.
