Ø     Today is Pentecost Sunday. It marks the end of the Easter season in the Christian calendar and celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Christ.

Ø     Children’s Worship will conclude its season today and will resume in the fall. The Kindergarten class will have a graduation party during their time together this morning.    

Ø     The evening service next Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, will be a combined service at First Allendale CRC at 5:30 PM. Pastor Harold Veldman will be preaching and an offering will be received for Love INC.

Ø     Families in need of Christian School tuition assistance, please contact Derk Dodde either in person, by email at derkdodde@gmail.com, or by phone at 299-5854 to get a form. Forms will need to be turned in by May 30.

Ø     The Coffee Break/Story Hour Ministry will begin their 32^nd year in Allendale this fall and is in need of nursery helpers and children’s leaders. Please pray for this ministry. Call Sarah Weaver at 389-7521 or Carol Gulker at 895-6321 if you’d like to be involved.  

Ø     A small group of men and women gather for prayer the first and third Wed. each month at 10 AM in the double room. Anyone can participate in this ministry. If you have difficulty praying aloud, that’s okay; our Father hears all prayers! The group’s purpose: to intercede in prayer for the needs of our country, community, church and its activities and anyone needing prayers. God is blessing this ministry in many ways. If you have questions or a special prayer need, please call Dave Bosch at 291-5917 or Rachael Taylor at 895-9414. All prayer needs are held in absolute confidence by the intercessors. Names of those needing prayer can be eliminated if you desire.

Ø     Lamont Christian Reformed Church is inviting all children entering grades 2^nd through 8^th to their first ever Lamont Art Camp!
