Ø   Church School classes will not meet today or next Sunday. Classes will resume Jan. 3. Have a Blessed Christmas!

Ø   Thurs. at 6:30 pm we’ll have a Christmas Eve Worship Service. An offering will be received for Guiding Light Mission.

Ø   Today is the last day to sign up for the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace classes that will begin here Jan. 11 at 6:45 pm. For details or to register, call Curt Gulker at 892-4868.

Ø   Because of the holidays, the church office will not be open during normal hours for the next two weeks. Please have announcements for the Dec. 27 bulletin in by Mon., Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. Thank you.

Ø   At the Dec. 27 pm service, there will be time for any student who would like to play a Christmas song. Please contact Kim Roon ASAP (895-6536, bkrron@altelco.net) if you’d like to participate.

Ø   The GEMS theme this year is focused on prayer and we are praying for Yennifer from Guatemala to receive a sponsor this Christmas. Have you ever thought of sponsoring a child from another country? Compassion Sponsorship program helps children like Yennifer break free from poverty and receive an education. If you are interested in sponsoring Yennifer or have questions about Compassion, please contact Rachael Taylor at 895-9414.

Ø  Thank you to all who contributed items for the boxes to be sent to the college students, young adults at home, and military personnel of Second CRC. Thanks to you, we were able to provide each one with a box that included various items from goodies, snacks, and personal items. Through these Care Packages, Second CRC let them know they are loved by their church family. Thank you for what you have done, we hope to do this again in the spring just before exam time. -- Deb Bosch and Hilda Wittingen
