Ø   Today we warmly welcome Pastor John Wiegers in the morning and Pastor Tim Kauffman and The River Praise Team tonight.

Ø   Come and give thanks on Thanksgiving Day! The worship service will begin at 9:30 am. A monetary offering will be divided between the A.C.T.S. Fund and CRWRC Disaster Relief, two funds which help persons in need locally and around the globe. Items will also be collected for the Love INC Food Pantry.

Ø   The box to collect items for the care packages to be given to our post high adults 30 yrs. and under will be in the lobby yet today.  Thank you for your support of this important ministry!  Deb Bosch

Ø   Dave Bosch plans to return home tonight of early tomorrow from the Prayer Mission Trip to Haiti with Pastor John DeBruyn. Go to www.prayermissions.org to view more about the exciting adventure.

Ø   A BIG thank you to the 2008-09 and current Children’s Worship classes for collecting enough money to buy 23 Thanksgiving dinners for Mel Trotter Mission! The classes are now saving towards helping the Mission provide more Thanksgiving dinners again next year to those who otherwise would go without.

Ø   Church School notes: The 9th-12th grade Church School class will be meeting in Room 123 for the rest of the year. It is the last classroom on the right. All children in grades 1-5 will meet during church for the Christmas stations on Nov 29, Dec 6 and Dec 13. Please note that the 4/5th grade class will not meet after church on those dates. Thank you.

Ø   Don’t forget to place your order for all those delicious baked goods from the Coffee Break Ladies. Extra order forms are at the Information Desk. If you have any questions, please call Jean at 895-4151 or Lisa at 892-9477.

Ø   Beginning Mon., Jan. 11, at 6:45 pm, Financial Peace University classes by Dave Ramsey will be held here for thirteen weeks. Please register soon so that materials can be ordered. For more information or to register, go to www.daveramsey.com or call Curt Gulker at 892-4868. 

Ø   Reminder to Kids Hope USA Mentors: no school this week Wed.-Fri, Nov. 25-27. Mentoring will resume on Mon., Nov. 30.

Ø   Christmas Boxes will be given to the KHUSA families this year. Your help is needed to make this a special Christmas for them. Please take a candy cane tag off of the candy cane tree in the lobby near the KHUSA office. Samples tags: body wash, shampoo, band-aids, lotion, toothpaste, colored pencils, crayola markers, pudding snack packs (4), hot chocolate mix (individual packet boxes), hand sanitizer, cough drops, $10 gift certificates to Family Fare, $10 gift certificates to Save-A-Lot,  packaged cookies, and Christmas candy. We have twenty KHUSA children this year to which we’d love to give gifts. Please bring items back to the tree no later than Sun., Dec. 6. Our Kids HOPE USA Christmas Dinner is planned for Wed., Dec 9. Thank you in advance for your generous support of this ministry! You have always been very generous. Ø   A community men’s Bible study will begin Sat., Dec. 5, at 7:30 am.  and will be studying a book of the Bible (to be determined) along with a study guide. Location: the Allendale Christian School.  All men are welcome!  For more information contact: Curt Gulker at 892-4868, Jack Boers at 892-7224 or Steve Taylor at 895-9414.

Ø   Grocery shower: There will be a basket in the lobby for a couple of weeks to collect items for Brad Smits & Rylee Laizure. Thank you for supporting this engaged couple!
