Ø This morning the Adult Choir will present their Concert of Favorites. Tonight we welcome The Men of Grace.
Ø Beginning May 3, there will be two offerings on the first Sunday morning of each month. The second morning offering will be for the ACTS (A Church That Serves) Fund and will replace the Benevolence offering usually taken each month. Please prayerfully consider how you can share your blessings through this offering.
Ø Would you like to order a hanging basket for display in the May 11 Mothers’ Day Garden? Order forms are available at the Information Desk. Orders are due May 3.
Ø Kids Hope USA is looking for a female mentor for a girl that just recently lost her mentor. A new mentor is needed for this child as soon as possible even though she has a temporary substitute. If you are interested or want more information, please call Aileen VanderSchuur at 204-3540.

A Congregational Meeting is planned for Tues., May 12, at 7 p.m. Nominees for Elder are: Doug Bergakker, Mike Brookhouse, Matt Driesenga, Curt Gulker, Mark Kuzee, Roger Sikma; for Deacon: Derk Dodde, Rob Gemmen, Dave Kolean, Brent Miedema, Eric Schulz. Three will be chosen from each group to replace outgoing members. The budget will also be presented.Ø Prime Timers, please reserve May 12 for a Potluck at noon.

Classis Zeeland is asking for input from churches to develop initial objectives for six future ministry teams: Koinonia (Christian fellowship), Healthy Churches, Leadership Development, Resource Development, Deaconal ministry, Evangelism ministry. Ø Bring your newspapers and phonebooks to Allendale Christian School for the Paper Drive May 8 & 9. The PaperGator, located on the south side of school, is available anytime to collect catalogs, magazines, junk mail and office/school paper. Thank you for your continued support.
Ø Allendale Christian School Annual Society Meeting will be held May 4 at 7 p.m. in the school’s gym. All parents of children attending ACS, staff members, and individuals over 21 who have contributed at least $5 to ACS have the privilege of voting at the meeting. As members, you are encouraged to prayerfully consider and/or attend the business of ACS. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you are encouraged to vote by absentee ballot (available from the school office). Each adult member may vote and each ballot must be signed and returned to the ACS office by noon on May 4 or passed in at the meeting.
Ø Allendale Christian School’s Annual Loyalty Drive is underway. This year’s goal: $50,000. Please prayerfully consider a financial gift to help keep Christian education affordable. For more information, call ACS at 895-5108.

Ø Zachary Smith of Allendale/Robinson Township Troop 39 will be managing Allendale’s First Battle of the Bands on Sat., May 2 at 6 p.m. in the Ceglarek Fine Arts Center. The Eagle Scout project is a fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the Allendale Music Boosters. To purchase advance tickets (adult $5, children under 10 yrs, and seniors, $3), email allendalebob@gmail.net. Tickets at the door will be $6 adults and$4 children/seniors. Local bands will be competing for an 8 hr. professional recording session as well as cash prizes. The Calvinist Cadet Corps is hosting its 7th Annual Fishing Tournament to raise funds to support its ministry – helping boys grow spiritually in all areas of life. The fishing tournament will be held on Sat., June 6, at Gun Lake State Park in southwest Michigan. morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3
year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which
meets in rooms 127 & 129.

carts in the back of the auditorium. Bibles are there also. Previous
