Bulletin for February 15

Ø Church School is planning a great Easter celebration and needs your help. 16 oz. water bottles are needed and can be placed in the box under the mailboxes labeled water bottles. Bakers are needed to make Hot Cross buns and Easter cookies; recipes provided. Station leaders are needed, if even for just one week, to lead a station (crafts, food, or digging deeper); all plans and materials provided. Ø The congregation approved the hiring of a part-time Worship Leader/Coordinator at the recent Congregational Meeting with a vote of 109 yes, 41 no. Please keep this process in prayer.

Ø Reminder to KIDS HOPE USA mentors: Allendale Public Elementary does not have school Mon. or Tues., Feb. 16 & 17.

Ø Everyone is invited to join in the Prayer Group that will meet this Wed. from 8:45 – 10:15 a.m. at 11219 Brown St., Dr. Zahl’s office.

Ø Ladies, gather your projects, put them in a bag and come to Bag Ladies on Tues., Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in the double room. Please email Erin at erinensing@hotmail.com if you plan to come or have any questions. New faces are always welcome. Hope to see you there!

Ø Volunteers are needed to bring supper on Youth Group meeting nights. There is a sign-up sheet on the Info. Desk. Thanks!

Ø The GEMS are collecting and earning change to help our sister GEMS club in Africa to purchase needed basic, needed supplies. Coin jars, decorated by our GEMS, can be picked up at the Information Desk. Please return them by Feb. 18. If you have questions or ideas on how the girls can earn change, call Rachael Taylor at 895-9414. Thank you for your support.

Ø Family LIFE Center of West Michigan, a Christ-centered home which gives a safe, stable place to unwed women who choose life for their unborn baby, will hold its annual benefit at 7 p.m. on March 5 at Main St. Pub. Speaker: Pro-life Pharmacist, Mike Koelzer. Tickets ($20 each) are available at the Allendale Library, Family LIFE Center and Keegstra's in Hudsonville.

Ø Nursery for infants and toddlers is available during both services. Partway into each morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3 year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which meets in rooms 127 & 129.

Ø For those with special needs: The entire facility is barrier free. Large print bulletins are available at the Information Desk. The auditorium is equipped with a hearing loop. If you have a hearing aid, please set it to “T” for better hearing during the service. The best reception is at the center of the auditorium.
