Ø Welcome to Calvin Seminarian Ashley Plagerman Van Dragt who will be presenting God’s message at both worship services today. Next Sunday Calvin Seminarian James Kuiper will be sharing God’s Word. If a need arises during Pastor Harold’s absence, please contact a Council member.
Ø Note: The office will be minimally staffed this week. Please have announcements in to the church office by noon on Tuesday because of the holiday. Thank you.
The Church School Christmas Program will be this evening. We will be practicing after the morning service. Also the children need be to at church at 5:00 PM to get ready. Thank you for your cooperation in making the Christmas program a success. I would also like to thank all the many volunteers who helped to make this program possible and a special thank you to Kim Roon, Michelle Kolean, Hilda Wittingen, and Rachel Taylor.|

Ø The Staffmen Quartet of Allendale is hosting their 9th annual new Year’s Eve Concert at Grace Community Church located at 3500 new Holland in Hudsonville. Their guests this year will be “Proclaim” from Whitneyville; “New Spirit” from Hudsonville; and “Voices of Victory” from Jenison. The evening will start at 8 p.m. and continue until midnight. There will be a love offering with the proceeds going to “Harmony Home”. Come when you can – leave when you must. Share in a night of praise and thanksgiving to our great God.
Ø Men of Grace, an area-wide men's chorus will resume rehearsals starting Jan. 4, 2009. New members are always welcome. Rehearsals will be held at Lamont CRC from 4 pm - 5 pm each Sun. in Jan.. Inquiries may be directed to Tom Vander Wall (677-6056) or Brenda Oosterhouse (677-1890).
Ø Camp Geneva is looking for college-age students desiring to be part of something significant! Applications for all summer staff positions will be accepted until Dec 31. For position descriptions and to print an application, check out www.campgeneva.org.
Ø It may be cold and snowy outside, but registration for summer cottages at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds starts on Jan. 10 and summer camping on Jan. 17. It’ll be warm and sunny before you know it! Build family memories at the Conference Grounds. It is located just south of Grand Haven on the shores of Lake Michigan. Ø Camp Roger, a Christian youth camp in Rockford, MI seeks energetic young men and women who are passionate about sharing themselves and their faith with kids. Camp counselor, waterfront director, ropes ranger, and kitchen staff positions are available for the summer of 2009. Applications are due by Feb. 15 and are now available online or by calling Camp Roger at 616-874-7286.

for infants and toddlers is available during both services. Partway into each
morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3
year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which
meets in rooms 127 & 129.

if used, are available on the
carts in the back of the auditorium. Bibles are there also. Previous
week’s sermons can
be obtained at the Information Desk in CD format or can be accessed at the

free. Large print bulletins are available at the Information Desk. The
auditorium is equipped with a hearing
