Ø    Beginning next Sunday, Dec. 7, the evening worship service will begin at 5:30 p.m. on a trial basis with review in the spring.

Ø    The monthly Women’s Prayer Group will meet 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in the sanctuary. Questions: Call Rachael Taylor at 895-9414.

Ø    Kids Hope USA volunteers, the KHUSA Christmas Dinner is planned for Thurs., Dec. 4, at church at 6:00 p.m.  Congregation, if you have a donation for the KHUSA Christmas gift boxes, please bring it to church today. Thank you!

Ø    Did you forget? There’s still time to order those yummy treats from the Coffee Break Ladies.  Place your orders, with payment, in the marked bag on the Information Desk today. Ø    A Men's Bible Study will meet at Allendale Christian School starting Sat., Dec. 6, from 7-8:30 a.m. using the book The Man in the Mirror by Patrick Morley.  Please prayerfully consider joining for a time of prayer, sharing and studying this book together. All are welcome!  Questions? Ø    Church School is looking for people who love Christmastime to help with the Christmas Program. Everything is in place; we just need helping hands with things such as the songs, costume fitting, crowd control, and set up. If you can help in anyway, even for one Sunday rehearsal, please call Kristina Moelker at 895-5946.

Ø    Throughout the year, do you ever work with or plan to work with the children of our church?  If so, you have one more chance to attend a Safe Church (Abuse Training) meeting for this year. This meeting is held so that you can be protected as well as for the protection of our children AND it is required for anyone 18 years and older. The meeting will be held in the auditorium beginning 15 minutes after the morning church service next Sunday, Dec. 7, and will end in less than one hour later. Ø    Nursery for infants and toddlers is available during both services. Partway into each morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3 year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which meets in rooms 127 & 129.   

Ø    Sermons: Outlines, if used, are available on the carts in the back of the auditorium. Bibles are there also. Previous week’s sermons can be obtained at the Information Desk in CD format or can be accessed at the church website: www.2ndcrc-allendale.org Click Here to go to the Sermon page.

Ø    For those with special needs: The entire facility is barrier free. Large print bulletins are available at the Information Desk. The auditorium is equipped with a hearing loop. If you have a hearing aid, please set it to “T” for better hearing during the service. The best reception is at the center of the auditorium.
