Ø    Today Seminarian Brian Gebben will be sharing God’s message during both services. Welcome

Ø    Plan to attend the Community Worship Service in the township park next Sunday, July 6, at 6:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. The service will be held in our church in case of inclement weather. 

Ø    Save Wed., July 16, for a great evening of fun and yummy food at the Church Picnic. It’s only 2½ weeks away!   

Ø    Mark your calendars for July 20 when we will be having an Outdoor Worship Service.  Stay tuned for more information. 

Ø    For you bargain hunters, Kids Hope USA will be having a Backpack Drive in August.  There are school supply lists on the Information Desk for packing the backpacks with school supplies. Contact Aileen VanderSchuur if you have any questions; phone: 204-3540. 

Ø    Jennifer Konyndyk is now the Nursery Coordinator. If you are willing to volunteer for the Nursery, please contact her at 895-4884 or email johnandjenk@allcom.net.  

Ø    The GEMS Leaders are still saving pop cans for the Leadership Conference. Please put your pop cans in the bin in the lobby or call Rachael Taylor at 895-9414 if you’d like them picked up.

Ø    Christian Reformed Conference Grounds events: Fri., July 4, Down Home will be in concert at 7 p.m.

Ø    Kickoff your 4th of July celebrations with an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at Allendale Christian School. Time: 7-10 a.m.  Cost: $5 for adults, $2.50 for kids, kids 3 and under eat free.  Menu: eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. Enjoy a great community-wide breakfast!

Ø    Unity Christian High School’s Prayer Calendars for July are available from the kiosk.

Ø    EverGreen Ministries in Hudsonville invites you to “Juliet: A Dialogue About Love”, the story of a Hungarian mother and her seven children interred in a Romanian detention camp, at 7 p.m. on July 11&12. Proceeds will go to Jack & Cindy Ippel’s mission trip to Hungary. Tickets: $7.50 in advance or $10 at the door. For more information or tickets, phone 669-7700 or e-mail david@egm.org.  

CRWRC Disaster Response will have an entry in Allendale’s July 4 Parade.  Volunteers wearing their green shirts are invited to walk along with the DRS equipment and hand out candy and ink pens.  Come to the line-up area by 9:30 a.m.  Enter the line-up area off Lake Michigan Dr. and look for parade entry # 10.  Vehicles can be parked in lot “D3”, “D4” or at the end of the parade route in lot “J”. Do not drive in the line-up area.
