Ø On Sunday, July 6, there will be a Community Worship Service in the township park at 6:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. The service will be held in our church in case of inclement weather.
Ø If you like to join The Weed Squad and help with landscaping care on church grounds, please contact Bob & Rose Bosch at boschr@altelco.net or leave a voice message at 895-6978.
Ø The Church Picnic is only 3½ weeks away. Be sure to save Wed., July 16, for an evening of great fun and delicious food.
Ø Mark your calendars for July 20 when we will be having an Outdoor Worship Service. Stay tuned for more information.

Ø For you bargain hunters, Kids Hope USA will be having a Backpack Drive in August. There are school supply lists on the Information Desk for packing the backpacks with school supplies. Contact Aileen VanderSchuur if you have any questions; phone: 204-3540.
Ø Kids Hope USA is looking for at least 12 new mentors for the coming school year based on requests from the school. The need is great! Make a positive difference for Christ in a young child’s life! These children need extra love or need to know that someone does love them. Is God calling you to help? Training will be in the fall. Ø Kickoff your 4th of July celebrations with an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at Allendale Christian School. Time: 7-10am. Cost is $5 for adults, $2.50 for kids, and kids 3 and under eat free. Eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee also included. Stop on out before the parade and enjoy a great community-wide breakfast!

You won’t want to miss this week’s Crossroad Connection when Dr. David Feddes will encourage listeners to stop blaming Dad and start taking responsibility. Ø Registration forms for the Aug. 7 Bible League 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Diamond Springs Golf Course are available from the kiosk.
Ø CRWRC Disaster Response Services has volunteers in Iowa helping after the recent tornado. Volunteers are also poised to help with the flood clean-up. Volunteers in Columbus, Indiana, are assessing damage and planning for a DRS response. Nursery
for infants and toddlers is available during both services. Partway into each
morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3
year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which
meets in rooms 127 & 129.

Sermons: Outlines,
if used, are available on the
carts in the back of the auditorium. Bibles are there also. Previous
week’s sermons can
be obtained at the Information Desk in CD format or can be accessed at the
church website: www.2ndcrc-allendale.org.

free. Large print bulletins are available at the Information Desk. The
auditorium is equipped with a hearing
loop. If you have a hearing aid, please set it to “T”
