Bulletin for April 20, 2008 |
We
are
very glad you decided to come and worship God here today. Welcome!
We pray that you receive from God what you need today and that you come back
again.
Everyone is invited to stay for refreshments and conversation in the lobby
after the morning service.

Ø Rev. John Van Regenmorter and Seminarian Joshua Wallish are guest pastors today. Welcome!
Ø Church School classes resume this morning.
Ø A Worship Planning Survey has been placed in each mailbox. Please return completed forms to the office. Your responses will be very helpful. Thank you.
Ø Vacation Bible School is being planned for July 28 – August 1. Please contact Sarah Gemmen at 901-7677 or at sgemmen@charter.net if you’d like to be a part of planning this exciting ministry.
Ø Do you have an interest or talent relating to promotion, publicity, or advertising? Here is an opportunity to use it! The church Council’s Growth Team is interested in forming a group to consider ways Second CRC can outreach to the community. It will be fun to chat over coffee about interesting possibilities. Please contact John Worst today to participate (895-5117).
Ø The Youth Group Auction is this Sat., the 26th, starting with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. Don’t miss it!
Ø Second CRC Yellow Pages: If you are interested, we’d like to put together a directory for the congregational members so we not only have a Christian, trustworthy person to go to when we need help or repairs, etc., but also will be able to support one another in the jobs, gifts and various abilities God has us doing at this time in our lives. This is neither an endorsement of nor a solicitation for the congregation. Please see the Yellow Pages Book displayed on the table in the church lobby. It will be there for a few weeks as a guide in submitting your information. Thank you to everyone for your help! If you have any questions about this project, please contact Steve or Sara Ambrose at 847-2984 or saraambrose@charter.net or 442eman@charter.net.
