Bulletin for April 6, 2008

We are very glad you decided to come and worship God here today. Welcome!
We pray that you receive from God what you need today and that you come back again.
Everyone is invited to stay for refreshments and conversation in the lobby after the morning service.

Ø    Church School will have Spring Break April 6 & 13.

Ø    Kids Hope USA Mentors: there’ll be no mentoring at Allendale Public School this week, April 7-11, because they have Spring Break. Mentoring will resume the 14th.

Ø    Information for the next Second Thoughts newsletter, the May/June issue, will be due April 13. If you have graduation news to share, please pick up a form at the Information Desk.

Ø    GEMS: Anyone interested in carpooling to the Big Light Tour on April 19, please meet at church by 8:40 a.m. Please make every effort to be on time so no one gets left behind.

Ø    New to our Media Center is the “Answers in Genesis” DVD series thanks to the generosity of wonderful people in our church! It is ready to check out now!

Second CRC Yellow Pages: If you are interested, we would like to put together a directory for the congregational members so we not only have a Christian, trustworthy person to go to when we need help or repairs, etc., but also will be able to support one another in the jobs, gifts and various abilities God has us doing at this time in our lives. This is neither an endorsement of nor a solicitation for the congregation. Please see the Yellow Pages Book displayed on the table in the church lobby. It will be there for a few weeks as a guide in submitting your information. Thank you to everyone for your help! If you have any questions about this project, please contact Steve or Sara Ambrose at 847-2984 or saraambrose@charter.net or 442eman@charter.net
