Ø Tonight we welcome the Heritage Singing Men who will be participating in the evening service.
Ø New to our Media Center is the “Answers in Genesis” DVD series thanks to the generosity or wonderful people in our church! It is ready to check out now!
Ø Kids Hope USA will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., March 22. Needed are 290 plastic eggs and 540 pieces of candy to fit into the eggs. To donate eggs or candy, please bring them to church no later than next Sunday, the 16th, and put them on the table in the lobby by the Kids Hope USA sign. Thank you for your support! Ø Reminder to Kids Hope USA Mentors: There will be no mentoring on Tues. afternoon, March 11. Allendale Public Elementary School will dismiss at 12:05 p.m.
Ø Full Council will meet briefly at 7:30 p.m. this Tuesday prior to Council Teams meeting.
Ø If you desire to help in telling others about the Good News we have in Christ our Savior, come join this year’s Vacation Bible School team. Use your gifts for His glory. You’ll only have to do what you love! Please contact Sarah Gemmen at 901-7677 or at sgemmen@charter.net.
Ø Plan to attend our Good Friday Service on March 21 at 7:00 p.m. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated.
The Cadet-0-Rama will be March 27 and food will be available so bring your appetites. An All Church Pinewood Car Race will be Fri., March 28. Proceeds will go towards helping our Cadets go to the International Camporee. Details are on the table in the lobby or talk to one of the counselors. Car kits are in and they can be picked up today in the lobby. The Cadet room will be open the next two Wednesday nights for people to work on their carsPrayer List

Ø Allendale Christian School will hold a Kids’ Clothes & Toy Sale on March 15 from 9 a.m. – noon, with a half-price sale from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
Ø March 10 at 7:30 p.m. the Christian Counseling Center in Grand Rapids will offer a free seminar entitled “When a Loved One is Addicted”. For more information and to reserve a seat, call 956-1122.
Ø Zeeland Classis has appointed a Ministry Leadership team to encourage classical members to consider entering training for either ordained or non-ordained ministry within the CRC. Financial assistance is available for this training for next school year. For details, contact Judi Steenwyk at 772-1772 by April 1, 2008.
Ø If you are 16-18 years old and interested in exploring missions, here is a challenge for you. For 8 weeks during the summer of 2009, the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) will match a group of North American teens with a group of teens from Uganda. For more information or for the requirements needed to participate contact youthtoyouth@crcna.org.
Ø The Heritage Singing Men will sponsor a benefit concert to help fund an adoption for a young couple in the area. The concert will be held at South Grandville CRC on Sun., Mar. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Come for a wonderful concert and help support a worthwhile cause.

Nursery
for infants and toddlers is available during both services. Partway into each
morning service young children are invited to “Just Between” (for 2 ½ - 3
year olds) in room 122 or “Children’s Worship” (for 3-5 year olds) which
meets in rooms 127 & 129.
Ø
Sermons: Outlines,
if used, are available on the
carts in the back of the auditorium. Bibles are there also. Previous
week’s sermons can
be obtained at the Information Desk in CD format or can be accessed at the
church website: www.2ndcrc-allendale.org.

needs: The entire facility is barrier
free. Large print bulletins are available at the Information Desk. The
auditorium is equipped with a hearing
